Interview With One of Our VC CoinCu

Posted on November 12, 2021March 19, 2022 By user No Comments on Interview With One of Our VC CoinCu

Hello Real Realm community,

Recently we’ve had an interview with one of our VC, CoinCu. We asked them about recent market growth, their past partnerships also why they’ve invested in the Real Realm project and their expectations.

So here are the details.

1-What do you think about the recent market growth, what will we see in the next year?

Inspired by the success of Axie Infinity has driven GameFI Market, the NFT Gaming industry is growing explosively, many developers jump into the “play to earn” game mechanism, causing a number of projects to grow hot in recent months.

We do not think this will be a short-term trend, from our perspective of blockchain application, NFTs will be the future of gaming & E-Sport.

Therefore, more and more developers and major game studios will join this market. However, there are also some barriers to blockchain infrastructure, I think, as time goes games will become better and better than games released in the previous stage.

I also think VR/Metaverse will be a strong explosive trend of games in the next year.

2-Could you tell me about the deals you’ve done before the Real Realm?

CoinCu Ventures is a member of CoinCu Media Group. We’ve invested in about 30 blockchain projects before.

Recently, we have invested in many NFT game projects such as Mytheria of the TCG genre (Trading card game), ASPO World, Pegaxy.

Along with investing in gaming projects, we also raise investments for projects to build connectivity infrastructure or sidechain protocol focuses on gaming.

3-Why did you decide to sign a partnership with Real Realm?

We know that Real Realm was formed in the incubator of MeCorp Corporation, which has many years of experience in building and publishing games.

I think the reputation and experience of MeCorp and Real Realm team will create good products in the long-term development. In line with the investment goals of CoinCu Ventures, we look forward to accompanying developers with long-term development intentions.

4-What features do you like about the Real Realm?

As a CoinCu we really like the way Real Realm applies, its unique mechanisms that establish differences between play-to-earn and free-to-play. And this remains the necessary balance for all gamers.

Moreover, The game offers various battles to fit with all types of users, whether they are seeking a Free-to-play, Play-to-feel, or Hardcore game. The diverse battle system includes PvE, PvP, Scholar, and Co-op modes.

We would like to thank Coincu for taking the time and giving their opinions on the current market situation and Real Realm. We’ll be having many more of these types of interviews in the future.
